Unbreakable-covenant
From The Author
The marriage covenant is one of the most important chapters of this book. It is an agreement, a sacred agreement, between a husband, a wife, and God, the ccreator of the covenant (Malachi 2:13-16), with the Government, family members, and the general public as witnesses.
First, it is the covenant that brings God’s blessings, so without the covenant, there will be no blessings from God, no stamp of approval ( the spiritual holy union), in heaven confirmed by the creator of marriage. You can still embark on the journey of marriage. People do it every day without having the covenant of God. In order to have God’s covenant, though, you must have a relationship with God, through faith in the Lord Jesus the Christ, who is the only way to God (John 14:6; Romans 5:6-11). This is because sin has separated God and man (Isaiah, 59:1-2), and reconciliation could only be achieved through the shed blood of Jesus (Ephesiants 2:11-18).
Why? You may ask about reconciliation, with all the world religions with different views and ways to God. If we accept the way to God by works of our Righteousness and good works, then we would be able to boast on how Holy we are, and what good people we are we are not only because of our works and good deeds of helping the poor and how big our donations are, but also because of reconciliation of redemption through the blood Christ Jesus offering us salvation given by God Almighty and “His free will of Grace and Mercy that no man can boast!”
You cannot boast on something you did not contribute to, right? In humbleness and humility, we just say thank you. In order to get this mindset, we must put on the mind of Christ Jesus (1Peter 4:1) and know that everything is done by God Almighty, even attaining and understanding of what I am sharing, you must pray the Holy Spirit, open your eyes and ears to see the Covenant relationship and the power of it for both your marriage and lives. Without the power of the Holy Spirit, you are just going through the motions of a ceremony and having a big party, which will later lead you both to the lines of yearly divorces.
